Ideja za skladiščenje okroglih bal

V kolikor nimate prostora, da bi na suhem shranili okrogle bale sena, obstaja možnost skladiščenja  na prostem. V zadnjih letih sem probal več možnosti, od namenske tkanine za prekrivanje bal, pa vse do paropropustne folije tyvek. Z rezultati nisem bil najbolj zadovoljen. Prav tako sem bale zložil  eno na drugo in jih pokril s folijo, ki sem jo fiksiral  z vrvjo. Zadeva ima dve pomanjkljivosti, preveč kondenza in preveč dela, ko rabiš samo eno balo. Takrat je potrebno vse skupaj odvezati, odkriti ter obratno.

Okrogle bale so najbolj občutljive spodaj, ker vlečejo vlago iz zemlje. Zaradi tega priporočam, da se bale postavijo pokončno na dve leseni paleti. Ker sem imel bale široke okoli 120 cm, sem jih enostavno oblekel v pvc folijo, ki sem jo odrezal na poljubni dolžini (cca 2.30 cm, da sem balo na vrhu lahko prekril). Balo sem oblekel, polivinil pa na vrhu prepognil in nanj dal manjšo utež (opeko). V bistvu gre za vrečo brez dna (pvc tunel) na obeh straneh, da se vse skupaj nekoliko bolj zrači. Na zgornjem delu bi lahko privezal tudi kakšno pvc plastenko s širšim grlom (brez dna),  zaradi boljšega zračenja.  Bale so bile na prostem 4 mesece, nakar sem jih uporabil za krmo. Večje vlage in plesni ni bilo, oziroma veliko manj kot na balah, ki sem jih pokrival na druge načine.

Priporočam uporabo dveh lesenih palet
Postavite na dve leseni paleti bistveno zmanjša vlažnost bale na spodnji strani.

Tesno prileganje folije ni priporočljivo.

Odkrijemo in uporabimo lahko samo eno balo.

Ugotovitve:

  • za spodnji del je smotrno uporabiti dve leseni paleti, ker je bala potem bistveno bolj suha,
  • balo se enostavno položi na paleto, (sam sem to naredil s traktorjem in vilicami za prevoz bal)  jo oblekel, oz. čeznjo potegnil folijo,
  • rokav folije je dovolj širok, da se obleče 120 cm široka bala, pri tem pa ostane še dovolj prostora, da se folija na dotika sena, kar je pomembno za pretok zraka,
  • zaradi zgoraj omenjenga tudi tisti kondenz, ki nastane odteče po foliji,
  • ker je folija zgoraj odprta, omogoča nekaj več zračenja,
  • ko rabimo samo nekaj bal oz eno ni težav z odkrivanje in ponovnim pokrivanjem,
  • enostavna rešitev, brez vrvic in posebnih uteži, ter enostavno pokrivanje bale, kar lahko naredite čisto sami,
  • po štirih mesecih pod folijo so bile bale relativno suhe in brez plesni,
  • dostopna cena in poljubna dolžina pvc folije, ki jo odrežemo glede na naše potrebe,
  • večkratna uporaba materiala, ki se ga po uporabi enostavno zloži,
  • slaba stran te rešitve je, da rabimo nekaj več prostora zunaj,  ker so bale zložene ena poleg druge,  ne ravno najbolj atraktiven videz ter omejitev širine bale na cca 120 cm.
