Z matičnimi celicami do ozdravljenega sklepa

Ponosni andaluzijec Jubiloso je s pomočjo zdravljenja z matičnimi celicami premagal zahrbtno bolezen vnetja pohrustančnice. Z lastnico Lauro sta izbrala zdravljenje po metodi, ki jo je razvilo slovensko podjetje Animacel. Zdaj Jubilosa spet lahko vidite v diru na njemu ljubih prostranstvih, ko z lastnico dirjata svobodi naproti.

Jubiloso in Laura – zgodba o ljubezni na prvi pogled

Laura je ena tistih srečnic, ki ji je uspelo uresničiti svoje otroške želje – imeti svojega konja. A ne kateregakoli. Želela si je Andaluzijca, visokega belega postavneža, katerih lepoto je dolga leta občudovala bodisi v živo ali na fotografijah. Njihov ponos in energija sta ji vedno pričarala nasmeh na usta. Po nekaj časa proučevanja ponudbe na trgu, je prišla do stika, ki jo je pripeljal do Jubilosa. »Med nama je bilo takoj čutiti kemijo. Vedela sem, da ga bom izbrala, še preden sem prvič sedla nanj. Res sem bila srečna,« vesela obuja spomine Laura. V tujini je konj opravil veterinarski pregled, ki je potrdil njegovo zdravje in Jubiloso je bil na poti k svoji novi lastnici.

A sreča ni trajala dolgo. Že po nekaj mesecih so se pojavile prve težave. Konj je pričel šepati. »Jubiloso je pričel šepati na levo sprednjo nogo. Takoj smo poklicali veterinarja dr. Milana Hrena, ki je na tem področju velik strokovnjak,« pojasnjuje Laura. »Na začetku ni mogel ugotoviti, kakšna je poškodba, zato je delal blokade različnih sklepov. Šele slikanje bicljevega sklepa je pokazalo staro poškodbo hrustanca, kjer pa je že prišlo do zakostenitve, kar je povzročilo vnetje sklepa in šepanje. Bila sem obupana.«

Matične celice – pot do trajnega okrevanja

Po ugotovitvi težav, je veterinar Lauri svetoval, da se v primeru Jubilosa odloči za zdravljenje z matičnimi celicami, ki ga nudi slovensko podjetje Animacel. »Slišala sem že o zdravljenju z matičnimi celicami, a sem menila, da so primerne le za zdravljenja ljudi. Začela sem iskati še več informacij o tem. Prebrala sem vse članke, raziskave, študije, ki sem jih našla na spletu. Rezultati zdravljenj so kazali odlične rezultate, tudi pri konjiih. Največ čtiva sem našla o zdravljenju tetiv, ki so bila večinoma uspešna, zelo malo pa je bilo napisanega o zdravljenju poškodbe bicljevega sklepa. Odločitev je padla! Vredno je bilo poskusiti, saj so matične celice očitno predstavljale edino rešitev, ki bi lahko ozdravila sklep,« se spominja svojih prvih občutkov Laura.

Poseg so opravili na kliniki v Slovenski Bistrici. Potreba sta bila dva obiska. Prvi obisk je bil namenjen odvzetju maščobnega tkiva, iz katerega so v podjetju Animacel namnožili matične celice, ki jih je veterinar ob drugem obisku vbrizgal v poškodovani sklep. Sledilo je nekaj mesečno okrevanje.

»Mislim, da so bili ti dnevi najtežji za Jubilosa, saj ni smel v izpust in večino časa je preživel v boksu. Seveda sem ga vsak dan peljala na zrak, da se je lahko pasel, prav tako sem ga sprehajala na povodcu. Bolečin v sklepu ni več občutil, bil je poln energije in želje po gibanju, zato tudi vedno težje obvladljiv. Izkoristil je vsako priložnost in mojo nepazljivost, da je vsaj malo poskočil in nemalokrat se mi je hotel iztrgati s povodca.« opisuje prve dni okrevanja Laura.

Po dobrem mesecu dni je sledilo prvo slikanje pri veterinarju. Pokostenelost se je občutno zmanjšala, pojavljali so se le manjši okruški, ki pa na srečo niso povzročali bolečin, zato je Laura lahko začela jahati. Jubiloso je bil povsem brez bolečin, z veliko veselja do gibanja.

»Čez nekaj mesecev je imel nov pregled in slikanje. Na slikah ni bilo več vidnih okruškov. Veterinar me je v šali vprašal, če je slikal pravo nogo, saj je povsem zdrava. Za vsak slučaj je slikal še drugo nogo in tudi ta je bila zdrava! Čudežne matične celice so delovale!« radostna razlaga Laura.
